At the end of March it was a pleasure to be able to organise a series of joint clinics with American putting guru Geoff Mangum at the Can Rafel, Can Cuyàs and Sant Joan courses. It was a great success with more than 60 people attending over the four days. Geoff divides the task of putting into its four constituent skills: reading, aim, stroke mechanics and distance control (touch) and he has developed drills for practising each one of the four skills independently. Attendees went away with a much clearer idea of what constitutes optimal putting technique.
